Hogfather
Terry Pratchett's Hogfather is a 2006 two-part British Christmas-themed fantasy comedy television miniseries adaptation of Hogfather by Terry Pratchett, produced by The Mob, and first broadcast on Sky1, and in High Definition on Sky1 HD, over Christmas 2006. First aired in two 1.5-hour episodes on 17 and 18 December 2006 at 20:00 UTC, it was the first live-action film adaptation of a Discworld novel. In 2007, the two episodes were rerun on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day respectively on Sky One and Sky1 HD.

- Corporal Nobby Nobbs' full name is Cecil Wormsborough St John Nobbs. He has a paper signed by the Patrician of Ankh-Morpork verifying that he is indeed human.
- Death, voiced by Ian Richardson, utters the line "You might very well think that I'd already thought of that, but I couldn't possibly comment" - a reference to Richardson's catchphrase as Francis Urquhart in the political thriller House of Cards (1990) and its sequels To Play the King (1993) and The Final Cut (1995).
- The Dean is wearing a robe with "Born to Rune" on the back. This is a reference to Terry Pratchett's Discworld book "Soul Music", which also features Death and his associates and the Wizards.
- Sir David Jason, who plays Albert, would later go on to play the wizard Rincewind in The Color of Magic (2008).
