Rise of the Footsoldier
Rise of the Footsoldier is a British gangster film franchise written and directed by Julian Gilbey, Will Gilbey, Ricci Harnett, Zackary Adler, Andrew Loveday and Nick Nevern, distributed by Optimum Releasing. The franchise and its first two films are based on true events featured in the autobiography of Inter City Firm hooligan turned gangster Carlton Leach (Ricci Harnett) before later films focus on the lives of drug dealers Pat Tate (Craig Fairbrass) and Tony Tucker (Terry Stone) who were gunned down in the Rettendon murders in 1995.

- The Range Rover used in Bonded By Blood is actually the real Range Rover that Pat Tate, Tony Tucker & Craig Rolfe were killed in down the farm track in Rettendon
- Terry Stone also plays Tony Tucker in Bounded by blood which is a completely different movie based on the same story .
- In the coach scene at beginning of the film you can see the real Carlton Leach in the gym lifting weights
- Kierston Waring has played kate/Karen in three Films about the Range Rover murders in Rettendon. Fall of the Essex boys (2013), Bonded by Blood (2010) and Rise of the Footsoldier (2007)
- Kierston Wareing has also played the same character in Bonded by Blood and The Fall of the Essex Boys.
