Peter Cullen
Peter Claver Cullen (born July 28, 1941) is a Canadian actor and voice actor. He is best known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the original 1980s Transformers animated series, and most other incarnations of the character. He has also voiced many other characters across a wide variety of popular media, including Eeyore in the Winnie the Pooh franchise, Monterey Jack in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, and the first voice of KARR in Knight Rider. In 2007, Cullen returned to the role of Optimus Prime in various Transformers media, starting with the first live-action film.

- Son is stuntman Clay Cullen
- Was one, of only two, voice-over actors from the original "Transformers" (1984) animated series to voice a character in the live action film version, Transformers (2007). The other being Charles Adler. Cullen once again provided the voice of the valiant Autobot leader, Optimus Prime for the film.
- Has been the voice of two characters involved in chicken runs (when two cars drive towards each other). The first was the evil K.A.R.R. in the TV show "Knight Rider". The second was the heroic good guy Optimus Prime in the cartoon "The Transformers".
