He made his debut in 1997 with the group Key. After they disbanded in 1998, he joined Nuclear in 1999 and released one album before they disbanded. Later in 2001, he joined Lexa, which disbanded after a year. In 2006, Boom released his first solo single 'Boom Up', followed by his second single 'Shout Out' in 2007.
