Mini Bio (2) Choi Seung Hyun is most popularly known as one of the rappers in the Korean group Big Bang. Their group has been together for going on ten years, not counting side projects he has been a part of with other artists, one including an album with band-mate G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong).

It wasn't until 2010 that he made his first attempt as an actor, portraying an assassin in the Korean drama Iris. Shortly thereafter he appeared in a suspense drama with band-mate Lee Seung Hyun (SeungRi) titled My 19. In June 2010, his most recent film, 71-Into the Gunfire, was released, earning him praise for his acting as student soldier Oh Jung-Bum.

Choi Seung Hyun is best known as T.O.P , the power rapper of Kpop group BIGBANG. This group has been active since 2006. He has also done several collaboration projects, the most known with band-mate/leader G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong)under the name GD&T.O.P.

His first acting experience was in the video clip "I'm sorry" of Gummy, an artist signed under the same company (YG Entertainment).

In 2007 he debuted as an actor in the K-drama "I am Sam". In 2009 he played the role of Vick, an assassin, in the K-drama "Iris". This K-drama was later turned in a movie for the Japanese audience (2011).

In the acting field he is best known for his role in the movie "71: Into the fire"(2010). He won several awards for his performance.

In 2013 he had the main role in the movie "Commitment"(also known as The Alumni). He played the role of a North Korean spy sent to South Korea in exchange fore the protection of his younger sister. The movie became number one at the Korean box-office the day of its release.
