- This show is the second installment in the planned "Tales of Arcadia" trilogy. The first being Trollhunters which concluded it's run in May 2018. The third installment "Wizards" is planned for release in 2019.
- The main characters Aja and Krel (voiced by Tatiana Maslany and Diego Luna, respectively) were introduced in season 3 episode 9 of Trollhunters. Trollhunters and 3 Below are two interconnected shows of a planned trilogy from Guillermo Del Toro, known as the Tales of Arcadia.
