The Very Rev William Moodie or Mudie DD FRSE (1759–1812) was a Scottish Minister, who served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1799. He was also a philologist, and Professor of Hebrew (and Oriental Languages) at Edinburgh University.
