William Brooke Joyce (24 April 1906 – 3 January 1946), nicknamed Lord Haw-Haw, was an American-born British fascist politician and Nazi propaganda broadcaster to the United Kingdom during World War II. He took German citizenship in 1940.

William Joyce was born on Tuesday, 24 April 1906 in Brooklyn, New York. His full name at birth was William Joyce. He was best known as a radio personality. Joyce's country of citizenship (nationality) was American. He died on Thursday, 3 January 1946 in London, England at the age of 39. He is buried at New Cemetery, Bohermore, Galway, Republic of Ireland 53°16′37″N 9°01′49″W / 53.27692°N 9.03025°W / 53.27692; -9.03025. He was considered to be politically far-right and was affiliated with the National Socialist German Workers' Party. He had blue eyes and blonde hair (color). His zodiac star sign was Taurus.
