Mini Bio (1) Hailing from Texas and an athletic background, Travis Willingham graduated from Texas Christian University's theater program in 2003. No stranger to the stage or screen, Travis was surprised to develop a new talent in voice-over. His booming voice can be recognized in over 150 different video game franchises and animation titles.

Beginning his career in Dallas, he worked on many popular anime titles developed for American markets, including Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, where he voiced Roy Mustang. After moving to Los Angeles, he found himself working on titles such as Marvel's Super Hero Squad Show voicing The Incredible Hulk and Human Torch. A self-acknowledged comic geek himself, Travis has continued to work with Marvel Animation by maintaining the role of Thor in Marvel's Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as in various Marvel video games.

Other credits include Superman in Lego Batman The Movie: DC Super Heroes Unite, and in video games Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Lego Dimensions, and Lego DC Super-Villains, guest roles on animated series: Phineas and Ferb, The Legend of Korra, Regular Show, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Justice League Action, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Voltron, as The Heretic in Batman: Bad Blood and Cameron Campbell in Rooster Teeth's Camp Camp. Since 2010, Travis has been the voice of Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog video games, also doing the voice in the Sonic Boom animated TV series (2014-2017).

2013 ushered in Travis as Disney's newest King, as he voices King Roland II in Disney Jr's hit show, Sofia the First.

His video game career is also growing. And with demand for motion capture in newer titles quickly on the rise, Travis is thankful for his sports and stunts background. He performed mo-cap for the multitude of Frost Giants in the theatrical release of Thor in 2011 and has voice acted on many popular video game franchises, including Street Fighter, Halo, Mass Effect, Middle-earth, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, Call of Duty, Resident Evil, Soulcalibur, Ratchet & Clank, Transformers, Skylanders, Blazblue, Fire Emblem, League of Legends, Grand Theft Auto, Overwatch, Kingdom Hearts, and as Reggie Rowe in Infamous: Second Son and Harvey Dent in Batman: The Telltale Series.

Travis also co-stars on Critical Role, a live streamed Dungeons and Dragons game shown once a week on Geek & Sundry, a very popular Twitch channel. Other stars include his wife Laura Bailey, and fellow voice actors Taliesin Jaffe, Liam O'Brien, Sam Riegel, Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, and Matthew Mercer. Critical Role has been going on since 2015, and consistently draws in 20-25,000 live viewers from all over the world, as well as hundreds of thousands more viewing the show later on Twitch or YouTube.
