Tony Jay (February 2, 1933 – August 13, 2006) was a British-American actor, voice actor and singer. As a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he was perhaps best known and remembered for his most prominent voice work in animation, film and in various video games. Jay was also particularly well-known for his distinctive baritone voice, which often led to him being cast in many villainous voice roles. He was also perhaps best known as the voice of Judge Claude Frollo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Megabyte from ReBoot and the Elder God (and the original Mortanius) from Legacy of Kain as well as most notably the voice of Chairhead Chippendale from The Tick (1994 Animated Series).
