Tom and Jerry
Tom and Jerry is an American animated media franchise and series of comedy short films created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Best known for its 161 theatrical short films by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the series centers on the enmity between the titular characters of a cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry. Many shorts also feature several recurring characters.

Various Characters: but I'm happy.
- Originally aired on CBS as planned.
- In some of the video/DVD releases of the Tom and Jerry Show, the character of Mammy Two-Shoes is replaced with that of an Irish woman.
- The "Classic Collection" DVD boxsets omit at least one episode, "Casanova Cat". It has been generally viewed as one of the more blatantly racist Tom & Jerry episodes, as Jerry appears in blackface and tap dances to "Swanee River".
- The house cleaning lady seen in some episodes is named Mammy Two Shoes. She's supposedly a bear but her head is never shown.
- Tom is executed in the Two Mouseketeers episode.
