- Rocco Simonelli and Roy Frumkes both teach at The School Of Visual Arts and used the college to double for many locations including a movie theater, bar bathroom, and massage school. Reeves Lehmann, the chairman of the film, video, and animation department has a cameo as Micheal's boss.
- Features many cast members from the cult classic Street Trash, including James Lorinz, Roy Frumkes, M. D'Jango Krunch, Nicole Potter, and Victoria Lucas.
- The Gay Beating in the bathroom was much more graphic in the original version. After test screenings it was cut, fearing it was too dark of a turn.
- Cyndi Lauper and Her husband David Thornton dropped out of the film a few days before filming started.
- Shot on DVCAM PAL and edited on Apple's Final Cut Pro3 in 2001.
