Moose: I'm Not A Stalker...
(direct)
Moose: I'm A Fan!
  • At one point after Moose kidnaps Hunter, Moose imitates the "Stuck in the Middle with You" sequence from Reservoir Dogs (1992) to scare him. After Quentin Tarantino had given John Travolta a career resurgence with Pulp Fiction (1994), there were talks of doing a Vega Brothers film with Travolta and Michael Madsen.
  • One of the celebrities Moose comes across on the app Leah gives him is Tyler Durden. Fred Durst, the film's writer/director is a playable character once the critically panned video game based on Fight Club (1999) is completed.
  • Though the ending does not indicate whether Hunter told police about the crimes Moose had committed, it should be clear that he will do so later at the police station with his lawyer present. This is what all lawyers tell their clients to do in order to protect themselves from further legal problems. Also, Hunter was stunned anyway from the way events had turned, especially concerning the maid, of whom he had feelings for romantically.
  • Moose saying "I can't talk too long. I got to poo." is a nod to John Travolta's earlier movie Pulp Fiction (1994) which John Travolta's character in that movie Vincent Vega is shot and killed with a MAC-10 when he exits a bathroom.
  • When the movie was released on DVD in New Zealand, it was given the Restricted 13 rating. However, when it premiered on the Sky Movies Premiere channel in that country the rating was changed to Restricted 18.
