The Clan
The Clan (Spanish: El clan) is a 2015 biographical crime film written and directed by Pablo Trapero and starring Guillermo Francella and Peter Lanzani. It was selected to be screened in the main competition section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival, where director Pablo Trapero won the Silver Lion. The film was selected as the Argentine entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards but was not nominated.

- Second consecutive Argentine film to be produced by K&S Films and El Deseo, the first one being Wild Tales (2014).
- Altough Guillermo Francella portrays a dark character in this film, he is very well known in Argentina for interpreting rather comedic characters.
- As in The Secret in Their Eyes (2009), Guillermo Francella was not featured with his moustache, his trademark.
- This is the second film written and directed by Pablo Trapero to be featured in competition at the Biennale di Venezia, the first one being Crane World (1999), his first feature.
