Nine Queens (Spanish: Nueve reinas) is a 2000 Argentine heist crime drama film written and directed by Fabián Bielinsky. It stars Ricardo Darín, Gastón Pauls, and Leticia Brédice. In the film, con artists Marcos (Darín) and Juan (Pauls) unexpectedly team up to sell counterfeit rare stamps to a wealthy foreign collector.

  • The song Juan refers to several times during the film is Rita Pavone's 1976 hit "Il Ballo del Mattone" from the LP "Come te non c'è nessuno", written by Eduardo Verde and Bruno Canfora. As for the film in which the song is supposed to be in, no reference is found but, by correlating dates it could only be "Due sul pianerottolo (1975)"
  • During the filming of the scene where Juan and Marcos run after a motorbike, Gastón Pauls fell and injured his knee and was taken to the Argerich hospital where he got four stitches.
