- Andrea Libman does Fluttershy's singing voice, but not Pinkie Pie's. She stated the reason is because Pinkie Pie's high pitched voice tends to be a strain and that singing with it really hurts her throat.
- Pinkie Pie says her full name is Pinkamina Diane Pie, however Lauren Faust once said that Pinkie may not have been 100% truthful about this.
- Princess Celestia owns a Phoenix called Philomena.
- The phrase "My little ponies" is used several times to describe secondary characters, the Cutie Mark Crusaders; Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle
- In several episodes, there is a brown male pony with an hourglass for a cutie mark who is believed to be created after the Doctor is Doctor Who. Therefore, the pony' s name is Doctor Whooves.
