"Technicolour" is a song by Australian singer-songwriter Montaigne. The song is scheduled to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, after being internally selected by the national broadcaster Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). Montaigne cowrote the song with songwriter and producer, Dave Hammer. It is a hyperpop self-empowerment anthem, that through the lyrics promotes the courage to be vulnerable, yet knowing that in diversity and togetherness, humanity is stronger. Sonically, 'technicolour' takes the listener upon a emotional journey, whereby Montaigne states, "makes you want to cry, makes you want to dance, makes you want to take on a malignant corporate power".
