Manu Boyer grew up in the south of France. He studied physics at the University of Paris while playing volleyball professionally. He then attended the Marcel Pagnol film and photography school.

Working as a cameraman and photographer, he covered fashion weeks around the world for numerous years as well as shooting several fashion documentaries.

He then moved to New York where he worked in multiple capacities throughout the film and television business while attending Writers Boot Camp.

Next, he wrote and directed three short films: the award winning EXPRESS, which played at prestigious film festivals around the world; AFFAIR and SOMETHING FUN. Upon moving to Los Angeles, he directed I TRUST YOU TO KILL ME, a feature documentary about Kiefer Sutherland taking a rock band on their first European tour. The film was released theatrically in the U.S.

Manu wrote BROKEN, a feature script which was in selection at IFP's Independent Film Week in New York; and he is currently developing two other feature scripts.

Manu is active in commercials, directing the first POWERMAT ad campaign for Woods, Witt and Dealy. He is represented in the US by PARADOXAL for his commercial work.
