Liz Cambage
Elizabeth Folake Cambage (born 18 August 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player who last played for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Cambage currently holds the WNBA single-game scoring record with her 53-point performance against the New York Liberty on 17 July 2018.

- Liz wrote a very personal essay in August 2019 after she struggled with mental health that prevented her from appearing on the court. She revealed that she had suffered from anxiety and depression for most of her life and also struggled with sobriety in the past as she would often get blackout drunk. In addition to not taking medications, a break-up with an on-and-off boyfriend led her to spiral out of control.
- In July 2019, Liz revealed that she would likely quit playing basketball professionally after the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. She felt like she couldn’t commit to her other ambitions, such as developing other businesses and having children.
- She became a vegetarian in 2018.
- Her favorite number is 8 and she thinks it signifies infinity and connects her with her religion. She also has a number “888” tattooed on her right wrist and wears a shirt/jersey with a number 8.
