"Rodeo" is a song by American recording artists Lil Nas X and Cardi B from the former's debut EP 7 (2019). It was written by Montero Hill and Belcalis Almánzar, alongside Take a Daytrip's David Biral and Denzel Baptiste, Roy Lenzo, and Russ Chell, who produced the song. Musically, "Rodeo" is a country trap song with surf trumpet and a reverbed staccato guitar riff, which has been compared to Heart's "Barracuda" (1977). The song received mixed reviews from music critics, who praised Cardi B's verse. It debuted at number 22 on the US Billboard Hot 100, reaching charts in a few other territories. Lil Nas X and Cardi B were sued by Don Lee and Glen Keith DeMeritt III, who claimed that "Rodeo" plagiarized a song they produced called "Broad Day" (2017). A remix of the song featuring American rapper Nas is set to be released on January 27, 2020.
