Kings
Kings is an American drama television series created by Michael Green which aired on NBC from March 15 to July 25, 2009. The series' narrative is loosely based on the biblical story of King David, but set in a kingdom that culturally and technologically resembles the present-day United States.

- The Latin inscription "Ab uno disce omnes" on the back wall of King Silas' Board Room translates as "From one learn all".
- The skyline of Shiloh, Gilboa is a CGI-altered New York City. The exterior of the Capitol building (Unity Hall) is really the Brooklyn Museum on Eastern Parkway. The interior of the Capitol building (Unity Hall) is really the New York Public Library building.
- The military vehicles used by the Gilboa army are Swedish Army vehicles - most notably the Volvo C300-series - with original paint schemes and license plates.
- The basic plot of the series is loosely based on the Biblical story of King David, and many of the character and place names are the same as they appear in the Bible. It's assumed if the show continued David would eventually succeed Silas as king.
- Dylan Baker, who played William Cross, and Becky Ann Baker, who played David's mother Jessie Shepherd, have been married since 1990.
