Kausar Mohammed is a South Asian American actress born in San Jose, California with a young start in theatre and comedy. During her years as UCLA she was heavily involved with the school's well-known sketch team, Company, who performed for audiences of over 8,000 at the annual Spring Sing talent show event. Known for her comedic mark on digital platforms, she has worked with outlets like Buzzfeed, Funny or Die, and Nightpantz (Smyle video) - and is the lead host for the South Asian hip-hop lifestyle and entertainment show, THE HOOK. Kausar has also produced viral releases of her own such as the Formation Parody "Namaste" and the Pinky and Rupesh Youtube channel. She studies improv and sketch at UCB, Groundlings, and iOWest.
