Jose Condessa is recording the TV series "A Filha/The Daughter" (2023). He was directed by Pedro Almodovar in the film "Estraña Forma de Vida" (2022), due to premiere in May at the Cannes Film Festival (May 2023). José's last castings for TV were for the TV series "O Crime do Padre Amaro" (RTP) and "Rabo de Peixe" (Netflix) where he gave life to the main characters. He also joined the cast of the TV series "Pôr do Sol" and "Até Que a Vida nos Separe". José Condessa made his television debut in 2015 in the TV series "Jardins Proibidos", which was followed by Santa Bárbara, "Rainha das Flores", "Espelho d'Água", "A Herdeira" e "O Valor da Vida". In 2019 he was part of the main cast in the TV series of Rede Globo (BR) - "Salve-se Quem Puder". On stage, highlights include starring in the plays "Peer Gynt", "Peter Pan", "Como Vos Aprouver", "A Morte do Príncipe", "Peter and Alice" and "Romeu e Julieta". The actor was also part of "Macbeth", "Splendid's", "The Karamazov Brothers", "Se Eu Não Fechar os Olhos", "Um Rapaz Chamado Rupert Partiu-te o Nariz com um Pau?" and "O Penetrador". In 2021, his Hamlet, directed by Carlos Avilez, earned him a nomination at the Golden Globes for Best Theatre Actor. For his interpretation in "O Som Que Desce da Terra" he won the DGArtes Award as Best Supporting Actor. He also participated in the films "O Implicado" and "Gabriel" (where he played the antagonist). José finished the Acting Course at the Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais (2012-2015).
