His roles include attorney Dan Fielding on the NBC television sitcom Night Court (winning an unprecedented four consecutive Emmy Awards for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series), Mike McBride in the Hallmark Channel series McBride, John Hemingway on The John Larroquette Show, and Carl Sack in Boston Legal. He also played Jenkins/Galahad in TNT's The Librarians. He also provided the opening narration of Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
