iZombie
iZombie (stylized as iZOMBiE) is an American supernatural procedural crime drama television series developed by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright for The CW. It is a loose adaptation of the comic book series of the same name created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, and published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. The series premiered on March 17, 2015, and ran for five seasons, ending on August 1, 2019. It follows the adventures of a doctor-turned-zombie named Olivia "Liv" Moore (Rose McIver), a Seattle Police medical examiner who helps solve murders after eating the victims' brains and temporarily inheriting their memories and personalities.

- In the episode "Love and Basketball", Liv asks a suspect if he went to Hearst College. This is a reference to the college the protagonist of Rob Thomas's other show, Veronica Mars, went to.
- In episode 1.03 it is said that a software developer was going to "sell out to the boys in Redmond" prior to his murder. Microsoft is based in Redmond, Washington.
- In the second season, the recurring guest character played by Jessica Harmon is a FBI agent named Dale Bozzio who is tasked with a missing persons investigation. Dale Bozzio is the name of the lead singer of '80s New Wave band "Missing Persons".
- Both David Anders (Blaine) and Robert Knepper, were part of the cast of Heroes (2006), but in different seasons, David Anders was part of the cast in season two, with the ability to regenerate, while Knepper was part of the cast in season 4, having the power of Earth manipulation.
- Aside from suspension of disbelief, memories can't be recovered from long dead brain matter, the brain after a few minutes would begin to break down, including the neurons, making memories unrecoverable. So, a brain after it's been dead for hours would not be able to give out any memories like it is shown when one is "eaten".
