Freaky
Freaky is a 2020 American black comedy slasher film directed by Christopher Landon from a screenplay by Michael Kennedy and Landon. A twist on Freaky Friday, it stars Vince Vaughn, Kathryn Newton, Katie Finneran, Misha Osherovich, Celeste O'Connor, and Alan Ruck. The film centers on a teenage girl who unintentionally switches bodies with a middle-aged male serial killer. Jason Blum produced the film under his Blumhouse Productions company.

Josh: Oh my God, it's a slaughterhouse!
- The Blissfield Butcher's mask vaguely resembles a hockey mask, most infamously used by Jason Voorhees starting with Friday the 13th Part III (1982). He later wears a full Aaron Rodgers mask, which is similar to Michael Myers wearing a William Shatner mask in Halloween (1978) and its sequels.
- During the film's audio commentary, director Christopher Landon mentions at the beginning that actor Mitchell Hoog (Evan) resembles Zack from Saved by the Bell (1989). Hoog plays Zack's son Mac in the reboot Saved by the Bell (2020).
- Coral Kessler (Katie Finneran) drinks Swan Song wine. 'Swan song' is a phrase meaning 'the last thing someone does before death'.
- Director/co-writer Christopher Landon cited Fright Night (1985), The Blob (1988), Scream (1996), Scream 2 (1997), Urban Legend (1998), Cherry Falls (2000), and Jennifer's Body (2009) as inspirations for the movie.
- Vince Vaughn's fall during the auditorium chase was accidental and not scripted. Vaughn slipped on the fake plant that was knocked over and lost his balance but continued the scene.
