Gary: What?
  • When the dead serial killers are resurrected to stop Ziggy and Cindy, one of them bears a striking resemblance to Michael Myers from Halloween (1978).
  • Body count: 13 (including Tommy, the killer).
  • Ziggy seems surprised that Nick has read Carrie (1976) the book, written by Stephen King, and released in 1974. The film adaptation hit theatres just two years later in November of '76 and was a screaming success. Nick not knowing the pigs blood reference would be more shocking.
  • At one point Nick (Ted Sutherland) says "Stephen King's new one is supposed to be good," referring to The Shining, first published in 1977. A famous scene from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining (1980) is re-enacted with Tommy Slater (McCabe Slye) chopping at a door with an axe.
  • The cassette player featured in the film is a Hitachi TRQ-225.
