Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight
Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight is a 2008 American animated fantasy adventure film. It is the first film to be based on the Dragonlance campaign setting of the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. It is based on the first novel written for the campaign setting, Dragons of Autumn Twilight (1984), co-written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, both of whom gave assistance for the film's screenplay adaptation by George Strayton. The film was directed by Will Meugniot and distributed by Paramount Pictures, directly to video.

- In the mid-1990s, the Jim Henson Company was in talks with TSR, which was the owner of Dungeons and Dragons and also Dragonlance, to produce some type of Dragonlance project. However when TSR was bought out by Wizards of the Coast, the project was dropped.
- The novel "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" is the first book in the Dragonlance Chronicles trilogy. The Chronicles are the first trilogy in the series of Dragonlance novels and anthologies that now number close to 150 books, several of which were on the New York Times Bestseller List.
- Kiefer Sutherland actually looked into the whole background of his character, Raistlin, before showing up on the set to do the recording. He was continuously worried about the pronunciation of the magic spells, so they had to to record multiple takes around his spell casting.
- Due to the small budget, getting Kiefer Sutherland to play the voice of Raistlin was a long shot and not really expected to the production crew until the day he said he would do it.
