Constantine
Constantine (KON-stən-TEEN) is a 2005 American superhero horror film directed by Francis Lawrence in his directorial debut. Written by Kevin Brodbin and Frank Cappello from a story by Brodbin, it is loosely based on the DC Comics/Vertigo Comics Hellblazer graphic novels. The film stars Keanu Reeves as John Constantine, a cynical exorcist with the ability to perceive and communicate with half-angels and half-demons in their true forms and to travel between Earth and Hell. Rachel Weisz, Shia LaBeouf, Tilda Swinton, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Djimon Hounsou, Gavin Rossdale, and Peter Stormare also feature.

John Constantine: Not if I can help it.
- On the movie's local premiere at Bergen Cinema, Norway, it had 666 visitors.
- Aside from John Constantine, the only characters to survive the transition from comic to movie are Ellie (a demoness mostly cut from the original theatrical release), Papa Midnite, Chaz Chandler and Gabriel. All of the other characters were invented for the movie.
- Reunites Keanu Reeves with Rachel Weisz after Chain Reaction (1996).
- The "Spear of Destiny" prop is the same one as used in Hellboy (2004).
- Special features on the dvd reveals that it wasn't really Rachel Weisz in the scene where her character flies backwards through the building. A small replica of her body was made which then was "shot" backwards through a miniature office, adding light and wind affects.
