- Maddie Huntington when arriving at the Castle is assigned a Lady's Maid by the name of Abigail. The word Abigail by definition is a Lady's personal maid. So she would be Abigail the abigail.
- The character who plays the prince actually as royalty lineage in his blood line, this was confirmed in a 2014 interview.
- The castle from Castlebury is actually Peles Castle, the royal palace of the Romanian kings, which ca be found in Sinaia, Romania. It is unique in Europe in terms of architecture, internal decorations and collections.
- Lady Kristina, to whom Roger Moore says hello as he enters the ballroom, is Roger Moore's wife in real life, Lady Kristina Moore.
- When Jules is fixing Milo's tie for the ball, she makes the comments "oh 007 eat your heart out." Roger Moore, who plays their grandfather played James Bond in many "007" films.
