24: Live Another Day
24: Live Another Day (also known as 24: Season 9 or 24: Day 9) is a 24 limited event television series that aired on Fox from May 5 to July 14, 2014. Sky 1 simulcast the premiere on May 6 in the United Kingdom and Ireland but switched to Wednesday nights for the rest of the episodes. It began airing in Australia on Network Ten on May 12, 2014. Set four years after the events of season 8, it adheres to the real time concept of covering the events of a 24-hour period and begins and ends at 11:00 a.m. However, there is a 12-hour time jump within the final episode.

- Michael Wincott (Adrian Cross) is the second actor from his family to be in a '24' series. His brother, Jeff Wincott, had a small role in the second season of 24 (2001).
- Kiefer Sutherland and Michael Wincott both worked together previously in the film, "The Three Mustketeers."
- This is the fourth time that William Devane has played the president of the United States. He previously played President John F. Kennedy in the historical drama The Missiles of October (1974). He also played President Hayes in three episodes of the TV series Stargate SG-1 (1997), as well as one spin-off TV movie. And finally, he played the unnamed U.S. president in the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
- Premiered almost four years to the day after the end of the original TV series. This gap is acknowledged in the show's plot, with Steve Navarro mentioning that Jack Bauer has been on the run for four years.
- Tony Scott was attached to direct. Scott died in 2012.
