Zack and Miri Make a Porno (also known simply as Zack and Miri) is a 2008 American sex comedy film written, directed and edited by Kevin Smith and starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. It was released on October 31, 2008. The film follows the lives of friends Zack and Miri, who are facing financial troubles and decide to make an adult film to solve their problems. The film was produced by Scott Mosier and was released by The Weinstein Company. It received generally positive reviews from critics.

- The film was edited twice, and rated NC-17 both times. The final cut was initially rated NC-17, but got an R on appeal.
- Zach mentions making a porn spoof of "Star Trek". Co-star Katie Morgan actually starred in a porn spoof of Star Trek called Sex Trek: Where No Man Has Cum B4 (2007).
- Kevin Smith: (The number 37) A recurring theme in all View Askew films, it appears near the end of the movie when the film is paused in Delaney's basement. It is paused at 37 minutes.
- The role of Miri was originally written for Rosario Dawson. However, due to prior commitments with the Steven Spielberg produced Eagle Eye (2008), she had to decline.
- There is a sign on the wall of the coffee shop near the door to the back room which reads, "Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy."
