  • Reema Sen brought to life the character of Durga in the critically acclaimed 2012 Hindi-language crime action film Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1, the 1st installment of the Gangs of Wasseypur series. Maggie Lee of Variety called the film “the love child of Bollywood and Hollywood” and felt the film was “by turns pulverizing and poetic in its depiction of violence.”
  • Alongside Karthi, Andrea Jeremiah, and R. Parthiban, Reema Sen co-starred as Anitha Pandiyan (Nambirattiyaar), a strong-minded, ruthless, and determined intelligence officer who gathers a team to investigate Chandramouli’s disappearance, in the 2010 Tamil-language action-adventure film Aayirathil Oruvan. This performance won her the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award for “Best Villain — Female” while she was also nominated for a Filmfare Award in the “Best Actress – Tamil” category as well as for Vijay Awards in the “Best Actress” and “Best Villain” categories.
  • In 2009, Reema played the character named Payal in the Hindi-language family satire film Chal Chala Chal, starring Govinda. The film is a remake of the 1989 Malayalam-language black comedy film Varavelpu.
  • She appeared as Sukhmani in the 2006 Hindi-language comedy film Malamaal Weekly, a remake of the comedy film Waking Ned (1998). It stars Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Riteish Deshmukh, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani.
