Phil Diffy: Keely, Keely, Keely.
Keely Teslow: (pushes Phil gently) Don't you triple Keely me!
  • The high school that Phil attends is H.G. Wells High School, a reference to the famous author of, among several other works, "The Time Machine".
  • In the original script, Phil was meant to be a 12-year-old.
  • In the original show concept Barbara Diffy was going to have a detachable head and a robotic body which is why the character is wearing chokers and turtle necks throughout the first season to cover up where her head was supposed to come off. However, all scenes of this idea were cut out during the episodes aired, despite clips being included in some of the early advertisements.
  • Aly Michalka (Keely) and Ricky Ullman (Phil) were in a relationship after the show ended.
  • Wilder Shaw was considered for the role of Phil.
