Life in Pieces
Life in Pieces is an American television sitcom created by Justin Adler that aired on CBS from September 21, 2015 to June 27, 2019, with a total of 79 half-hour episodes spanning four seasons. It was produced by 40 or 50 Years, Inc. and Kapital Entertainment, in association with 20th Century Fox Television, with Adler serving as showrunner.

- Cast members James Brolin and Dianne Wiest also worked together in the theatrical film "Sisters" (2015).
- In the third episode of season one, during the scene where Colin Hanks, James Brolin, and Thomas Sadoski's characters are trying to chop down the palm tree in the front yard, the song playing is Bonnie Tyler's "I Need a Hero" from the movie "Footloose". Diane Wiest, the matriarch on this show, was also Ariel's mom and the town pastor's wife in "Footloose".
- The first song ever played other than the theme song was Bonnie Tyler's "I Need a Hero".
- This is the third time that a member of the Brolin and Hanks families have worked together. James Brolin and Tom Hanks appeared in Catch Me If You Can (2002). Josh Brolin and Colin Hanks appeared in W. (2008).
