  • Languages spoken are English & in few scenes German,Dutch (Flemish, spoken in Flanders,Belgium),French,(modern) Greek,Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin). Scenes in the town of Veld where Flemish & French are both spoken, signs are also bilingual.
  • The gas Ludendorff used may have been a form of Miraclo, the drug that gave Hourman his powers.
  • Watches have significance. It is a topic of conversation that Diana curiously asked Steve. It was a momento of his father passed down to him. Steve bestows his watch to Diana, underscoring how important she is to him before his "time" is up. In Captain America, during World War II, Steve Rogers was revealed to keep a pocket compass with a picture of his love interest: Agent Peggy Carter.
  • With an opening gross of over $103.3 million from 4,165 theaters, this film marked the highest U.S. opening for a female director. Previously, this record was held by Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
  • Steve flies a short-range aeroplane from Turkey to Themyscira, suggesting that the island is in the eastern Mediterranean. In most comic books, Themyscira is somewhere in the Atlantic.
