Victor Jory was an excellent character actor and his distinct nasal voice gave him a great tool for use in evil roles. His portrayal of the Shadow in `40 serial remains the best presentation of the Shadow, short of A. Baldwin`s recent hit. Too bad he didn`t make any more Shadow movies, he was great! Loved him in Dodge City too. He was great in the old westerns.
