Add new record
  • The film is loosely based on true events.
  • Executive Producer Ed Hohn passed away one month prior to filming, and Executive Producer Bill Randle passed away just after it's release.
  • On the broadcast premiere, The SYFY Channel edited out the 2 sequences where the students meet at the grain silo, thus eliminating the subplot where they were driven to the party so no-one would have their cars or know where the party was actually held.
  • During the filming of the "needles" scene, many of the prop needles went through the prosthetic neck and chest and into Daniel Ross' (Bernard) skin.
  • The "guards" in the woods are actually 3 other outcasts from school (seen on the school stairs and in the cafeteria). They are not the same outcasts as the ones in the party house, even though they are wearing the same costumes. This was meant to confuse the police when it was all over. Due to time constraints, this subplot was cut from the film, and is only subtly explained.
  • Chosen as part of the "8 Films to Die For" series of horror films by Lionsgate and After Dark Films.
  • Director Joey Stewart recorded the DVD commentary while drinking a bottle of Pinot Noir (red wine).
  • Lionsgate and After Dark Films changed the original poster art from masked outcasts with guns hovering over school girls to a little girl at her desk in a classroom. The controversy over the original artwork forced them to make the change.
