Selena is a 1997 American biographical musical drama film written and directed by Gregory Nava. The film is about the life and career of Tejano music star Selena Quintanilla-Pérez before she was murdered by Yolanda Saldívar at the age of 23.

- Jackie Guerra wanted the part of Selena`s sister, Suzette, so badly that she lied at her audition, saying that she was an experienced drummer, when in fact she had never played the drums. After her inexperience was finally revealed, Selena`s real sister Suzette gave her private lessons.
