Robert Downey Jr. married Susan Downey (then Susan Levin) in 2005 after two years of dating. She shot him down in the beginning but they ultimately wed in a Jewish ceremony in New York. Downey proposed to Levin on November 5, 2003, the night before her 30th birthday. The couple went public with their relationship the same year, and were married on August 27, 2005, in a Jewish ceremony at Amagansett, New York. She gave birth to their first son, Exton Elias Downey, on February 7, 2012, in Los Angeles, California. On July 9, 2014, Downey Jr. announced via his Facebook and Twitter that he and his wife were expecting a daughter in November. Their second child together, Avri Roel Downey, was born on November 4, 2014.
