Rangoon 2017 Movie - Rangoon is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language period romance drama film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The project is a period film set during World War II. It stars Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut in lead roles and Shahid Kapoor in a pivotal role. The film is scheduled for release on 24 February 2017.

- Third film of Shahid Kapur with Vishal Bhardwaj earlier being Kaminey 2009 and Haider 2014.
- There are at least two ironic twists in the third act: Julia becomes the Rail ki Rani (Queen of the Train) in her quest to free Malik from incarceration and possible hanging. Not only is this a role reversal as Malik was assigned to protect her in the original train journey, but she defied Billimoria's stipulation that she couldn't become the Rail ki Rani, as she would be married to him by then.
- The film's shooting was halted due to an injury to Shahid Kapoor and a Japanese actor.
- The film was earlier titled Julia.
- Kangana Ranaut worked for the first time with Saif Ali Khan,Shaid Kapur and director Vishal Bhardwaj.
