David Randall Blythe (born February 21, 1971) is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of American heavy metal band Lamb of God. He has also performed guest vocals for Cannabis Corpse, Overkill, Gojira, Eyehategod, Eluveitie, Bad Brains, Soulfly, and Clutch, and is the lead singer of side-project band Halo of Locusts.

  • Randy announced that he intended to run for President of the United States of America on January 5, 2012 via his personal blog. Despite releasing one campaign ad video, he has not formed a PAC, he has not filed a "Statement of Candidacy" form with the FEC, nor has he petitioned to be listed on the ballot of any of the 50 states.
  • On June 28, 2012, Blythe was arrested by Czech police for being suspected in a manslaughter case for killing a fan who climbed on stage during the concert in Prague club Abaton two years earlier on May 24th 2010. Blythe engaged in a fight with a fan during the band’s show at the Prague club Abaton in May 2010, and that the fan later died of his injuries.

According to Randy in Killadelphia, it was the result of him trying to tattoo the Misfits logo on himself while drunk and passing out before he could finish it. He also has a tattoo on his left forearm reading COBHC, which stands for "Children Of Bodom Hate Crew" which is the name used by the band Children Of Bodom for themselves, their crew, and their fans.
