  • Principal production of the first season commenced on September 22, 2018 in the city of Porto Nacional, Tocantins. In October 9, 2018 the production moved to Natividade, with some scenes planned to be shot in some of the city's main touristic sites.
  • It is the first Brazilian mystery thriller series to be produced by Netflix.
  • Actress Paloma Bernardi mentioned she felt some chills in some moments of the series shooting, as in the scenes from inside the church where the candles began to catch fire from nowhere.
  • Despite being set at the Pantanal region in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, the series was shot in the state of Tocantins.
  • Based on the Mexican series Niño Santo.
