Michael Chandler (born April 24, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional competitor since 2009, Chandler first gained notoriety when he competed for the Bellator MMA promotion where he fought from 2010–2020. There, Chandler became a three-time Bellator Lightweight World Champion and was the winner of the Bellator Season Four Lightweight Tournament. He also competed in collegiate wrestling out of the University of Missouri, where he earned NCAA Division I All-American honors. Chandler is currently ranked as the #4 Lightweight in the world according to Tapology.com. As of January 25, 2021, he is #4 in the UFC Lightweight rankings.
