Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is a 2018 jukebox musical romantic comedy film written and directed by Ol Parker, from a story by Parker, Catherine Johnson, and Richard Curtis. It is the sequel and prequel to the 2008 film Mamma Mia!, which in turn is based on the 1999 eponymous musical using the music of ABBA. The film features an ensemble cast, including Christine Baranski, Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Andy García, Lily James, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgård, Julie Walters, Cher, Meryl Streep, Alexa Davies, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Josh Dylan, Jeremy Irvine, and Hugh Skinner. Both a prequel and a sequel, the plot is set after the events of the previous film, and is intersected with flashbacks to Donna's youth in 1979, with some scenes from the two time periods mirroring each other.

- After appearing in this film, Cher recorded a full album of ABBA covers, aptly titled "Dancing Queen."
- Right before Sophie is reunited with her grandmother, the band performing at the party can be heard playing the ABBA song "Hole In Your Soul."
- When everyone is going to the christening of baby Donny and Sam, Bill and Harry are saying features of theirs that the baby might have inherited Sam says that Donny has blue eyes just like Sam. However both Harry and Bill also have blue eyes as well as Sophie and Older Donna.
- Cher and Meryl Streep who play mother and daughter in the movie are actually 16th cousins twice removed. They both descend from Sir Henry Percy and his wife Eleanor De Neville who were born in the 1400s.
- The ABBA song "Hasta Mañana" is playing in the background when Bill and Rosie reconcile.
