She diao ying xiong zhuan
The Legend of the Condor Heroes, also released as Legend of Eagle Shooting Hero and Legend of the Arching Hero, is a Chinese television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel The Legend of the Condor Heroes. It is the first instalment of a trilogy produced by Zhang Jizhong, followed by The Return of the Condor Heroes (2006) and The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber (2009). It was first broadcast on CCTV in China in 2003.

- During the filming of She Diao Ying Xiaong Zhuan (Legend of the Condor Heroes), 28 million yuan was invested by the local Zhejiang province government for development of Peach Blossom Island, which was used for the construction of the Peach Blossom Island Arching City, roads, bridges, accommodation, and marketing. The island which is now a major tourist attraction in China.
- In the original novel and earlier adaptations, "Iron Zombie" Mei Chaofeng was known as a terrifying and evil character, but in 'Zhang Jizhong''s TV adaptation, the character was acted by a beautiful dancing women, which drew controversy among Louis Cha's Wuxia fans.
