Clarkson has been in a relationship with Reba McEntire's stepson, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, since February 2012. Clarkson told the Daily Mail "Brandon is my manager's son. I've known him for six years but he was married. Then, suddenly, there he was at the Super Bowl and he was single". Clarkson announced that she was engaged on December 15, 2012 via Whosays broadcast and on her Twitter page. Kelly married Brandon on October 20, 2013. A month later on November 19, 2013 Kelly announced that she and her new hubby were expecting their first child. Kelly gave birth to her baby girl on June 12, 2014 they named her River Rose Blackstock 6 lbs., 6 oz., 18 inches.
In mid August 2015 Kelly announced she was expecting again.
Their son Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16
In June 2020, Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock.
