- -For the role played by Gilles Lellouche, the director was inspired by a real family assistant who practices in Brittany. Jeanne Herry chose Lellouche because she wanted "a man a little manly, who embodied a skull masculinity in the cinema.
- -Jeanne Herry chose for her second feature film to look at adoption and specifically about the period when the child is put back to adoption, rarely mentioned in the cinema according to her. If it is not a subject that touches her directly, one of her friends has adopted a child. This event made her want to learn about the process.
- -After "She loves it" French: "Elle l'adore", Jeanne Herry wanted to rework with Sandrine Kiberlain she describes as "a double ideal" of herself.
