- Luana Piovani and Ana Paula Arósio were considered for the role of Soraya before Letícia Spiller was cast.
- Both Bruna Marquezine and Tatá Werneck had prosody classes in preparation for their roles. The actresses are born in Rio de Janeiro, and had to develop the natural accent from São Paulo.
- Max Fercondini was considered for the role of Benjamin which went to Maurício Destri.
- Both Tatá Werneck and Bruna Marquezine appeared in Xuxa Meneghel productions as kids. Werneck was part of Xuxa Park (1992), and Marquezine appeared in Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos 3 (2002) and starred in Xuxa e o Tesouro da Cidade Perdida (2004). Letícia Spiller as aged 15 when she debuted as a "paquita" in Xou da Xuxa (1986).
