Hugh Jackman
Hugh Michael Jackman, (born 12 October 1968) is an Australian actor. Beginning in theatre and television, Jackman landed his breakthrough role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series (2000–2017, 2024), a role that earned him the Guinness World Record for "longest career as a live-action Marvel character", until his record was surpassed by Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier in May 2022. Prominent on both screen and stage, he has received various accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award, a Grammy Award and two Tony Awards, along with nominations for an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. Jackman was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia in 2019.

- In March 2023, Jackman was eating more than 8,000 calories a day to bulk up for his role as Wolverine in the film Deadpool 3. His daily meal which was divided into 6 meals included black bass (2,000 calories), Patagonia salmon (2,100 calories), 2 chicken burgers (1,000 calories each), and even 2 grass-fed sirloins (1,100 calories each).
- Before Daniel Craig, he was offered the role to play James Bond but he turned it down, thinking that he would be typecast. Moreover, he wanted to make some changes to the role but his request to do so was rejected.
- During the 2022 Drama League Awards, Hugh was honored with the “Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre” award.
- Hugh is left-handed.
- In December 2020, he reportedly gifted $1,300 cash (as a Christmas bonus) to each of the 900 employees of the R. M. Williams company by becoming their secret Santa.
